We are so proud of all of our U10 teams! They have all had an exceptional season and we are so thankful for all the effort put into successful outdoor seasons. Our G05 Premiers traveled to Kelowna, BC for the Canada Day Tournament and well…   were placed in the top tier at U13, playing an age above in a table of 6 teams from BC and Alberta! Hitting the practice pitch late afternoon on Friday, they were all struck by the intense sunny heat that is the hallmark of the Okanagan Valley. But, the Premers have their own hallmark – hard work! They shook off the heat and focused on the task at hand.   By the end of the weekend, hard work (as it always does) turned into success….

It all went down Father’s Day weekend! The GU12 Selects 05 claimed the gold medal at the KEYSA Sam Steele Tournament in Cranbrook. The fathers of the Selects team would like to take some credit as they provided a great warm-up in a Fathers vs Daughters game prior to the gold medal match! Our Selects finished the tournament undefeated & only conceded 1 goal in 4 games!   Well done Selects – upward and onward! #SWUPROUD

This past weekend, we hosted both UBC and UBCO Universities Soccer Head Coaches, who worked with some of our teams directly on the field.   Set up by our director Ramon Mifflin, the ID camp gave an opportunity for both sides for great interaction and spotlight for the game at the university level. The feedback from our team & player skill was extremely positive. A big thanks to both schools for coming out and spending some quality time with our program.       #SWUPROUD

OUR PREMIERS ARE OFF TO PERU! It has been a trip in the planning stages for some time. That time has finally come as our Premiers 00G team is headed for international exposure in Peru!     Led by their team’s head coach & our Club Director Ramon Mifflin (a Peruvian native), the girls have a big trip planned as their time will not be spent only around soccer.   If you have not read much on the current devastation that flooding has struck Peru – click here to give yourself a brief update.   So, the team has announced…

In January, our Premiers 05G headed to Saskatoon for the SISCO 9v9 tournament & they experienced success at every turn! Organization success; the management team for the tourney was on point. Heather, Emma, Andrea, and all those who supported us with the food, scheduling, and planning did a very good job keeping everything on track and the team well fed and rested. Experience success; Latoya’s tweet (@swupremieres05) summed up the weekend quite well from a soccer perspective: “5 games, 3 days, 4 wins, 1 loss, 23 goals for, 4 goals against, no injuries, stronger bonds, great memories”. Diving into those…
