The Board of Directors of the Calgary South West United Soccer Club, in conjunction with both Calgary Minor Soccer and the Alberta Soccer Association, has completed a six month process to identify any gaps or omissions in our policies and business practices. This review provided us the opportunity to identify some areas where we can work cooperatively with CMSA and continue to work in the best interests of our members. The boys conquer the CMSA Winter Classic !   Congratulations to our BU14 Force !   Force earned the gold medal at this years Winter Classic. They went 3-0 to win the group stage then defeated Lethbridge FC Inferno 3-2 in the final. Well done players, coaches and supporters. #SWUPROUD

SAIT MSOC is headed to Nationals

Over the weekend, the ACAC was finishing up their provincial finals. SAIT made it to the final which gives them entrance to Nationals which is held next week! Among their roster we have 4 SWU Graduates putting in serious work helping the team substantially. Congrats to: Bryan Johnson (97) Darel Ejikeme (97) Matt Verge (98) Ethan Holmes (98) Best of luck to SAIT (also coached by one of our friendly club coaches John Talerico & former club coach Grant Stevens!) @ Nationals! With CIS season hitting playoffs, a lot of our SWU Graduates continue to grind! Bori Falaye (98) scored twice today to lift the Dinos to the Canada West Final 4. Roman Gourdeau-Paul, Keeper for the SWU Selects 01 Tier II team, participated in a ID Camp for Team Saskatchewan ahead of the upcoming North American Indigenous Games (NAIG) to be held in Toronto, July 2017.
