CMSA LEAGUE

Competitive (CMSA / AYSL / AMSL) League

CSWU competitive programs begin in CMSA (U8 to U19) offering a wide range of abilities through tiers. Players excelling in CMSA at U14-U18 have the opportunity to play in the Canada PDP program titled AYSL in Alberta. AMSL offers players excelling the opportunity to participate in AMSL.

CMSA (Calgary Minor Soccer Association) is a city-wide league, offering a tiered soccer from U13 to U19 and a developmental program from U8 to U12. The CMSA development pathway follows the Canadian Soccer’s long-term player development model.

AYSL (Alberta Youth Soccer League) is a provincial wide PDP league. Clubs that hold the National Youth Club License are able to participate in this standards-based league.

AMSL (Alberta Major Soccer League) transitions our players from the competitive program to adult programing. Players can participate in this program life-long.

Within all of our competitive programs, CSWU Technical staff focus on long-term player development principles, within the game structure. CSWU prides itself on developing highly skilled and competent decision-making soccer players.
